CDC prides itself with its shipping experience & is Class certified with ABS, Lloyds Register & DNV GL & can support work with regards to subsea surveys (Along side & at anchorage) All work is captured via CCTV & a final technical report of all work is documented with still pics & diagrams & sent to the client. We have a Rapid Response Shipping Unit for quick response emergencies.

CDC has successfully completed five salvage operations. One being the removal of 80 tons of diesel from the fishing vessel, Baratz, that sank off Cape Recife in 30 meters of water. Another salvage was the Larianna, a 60 tonne concrete vessel that sank in Port Elizabeth harbour & the reflaoting of the Knysna Paddle Cruiser. CDC has a 24hr rapid response maritime emergency team.

We are a 13 year old commercial diving company based in Port Elizabeth and have the TNPA port diving licenses to carry out commercial diving operations in the Port of Mossel Bay, Port of Port Elizabeth, Port of Ngqura and the Port of East London. We are Lloyds, American Bureau of Shipping & DNV GL certified as well as obtaining our ISO-9001. We specialize in both land inshore civil and coastal/off-shore commercial diving projects consisting of In-Water CCTV Class surveys of vessels, UWILD surveys, various ship husbandry, GVI’s, crack detection, damage & deformity assessments, salvage, in-water Port construction, repairs & maintenance, dredging & airlifting, inland construction, repair & maintenance for dams water systems, reservoirs & bridges & demolition, with many tools at our disposal mainly being pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, broco cutting, welding, lift bags & rigging equipment.
